Achievements and Prizes

Didkovskyi V. S., head of Acoustics and Acoustic Electronics Department, Doctor of Engineering Sciences, and Leiko O. G., professor of Acoustics and Acoustic Electronics Department, were awarded Ukrainian State Prize.

“December 14, 2009: Teaching staff of the faculty congratulates Didkovskyi V. S., head of Acoustics and Acoustic Electronics Department, and Leiko O. G., professor of the department, on receiving high state prize! Professor Didkovskyi V. S. and Professor Leiko O. G. were awarded Ukrainian State Prize in science and engineering according to the decree of the President of Ukraine from October 30, 2009, №980/2009.

Peterheria Yu. S., professor of Industrial Electronics Department, Doctor of Engineering Sciences, is:
• a Laureate of Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences Prize for young scientists. The research work “High-performance Algorithms of Semiconductor Converter Control with Parameter Identification”, the decree of the Presidium of Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences from 28.02.2001;
• a Laureate of All-Ukrainian Contest “Youth for Ukrainian Energetics: the Open Contest for Young Scientists” in “Power Industry” nomination; the research work on the subject “Principles of Optimal Control of Generation and Electricity Consumption in Local Objects”;
• a grant recipient of the President of Ukraine for gifted youth for the project “Smart Systems Providing Energy Conversation in Residential Buildings” in 2007:
• a Verkhovna Rada scholarship holder of Verkhovna Rada personal scholarship for the most talented young scientists in 2008.

Zhuikov V. Ya. , head of Industrial Electronics Department, Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Tereschenko T. O., professor of Industrial Electronics Department, Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Peterheria Yu. S., professor of Industrial Electronics Department, Doctor of Engineering Sciences are
• finalists of All-Ukrainian Contest “Leader of Fuel-Energy Complex 2002” as members of Electronics Faculty group of authors of National Technical University of Ukraine, “KPI” in nomination “Scientific and Technical Development”; the research work on the subject “Development of Mathematical Principles of Microprocessor Control Algorithms by Power Converters in Autonomous Power Supply Systems”;

• laureates of Ukrainian contest “Leader of fuel and energy complex-2005” as a members of composite author in the nomination “Scientific and engineering development” – “The manual “Circuit engineering of electronic systems” in 4 volumes”;

The students of the industrial electronics department Buranov D.O., Mudrievsky S.O., Nevmerzhytsky O.V., are laureates of award of The National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine 2009 for young scientists and students for their work “The application of force lines to control local object loading”.
The associate professors of the industrial electronics department, Khyzhnyak T.A. and Khokhlov J.V., are laureates of award of NAS of Ukraine for young scientists for their research work “The application of discrete transformation in the tasks of controlling and diagnosis of power electronic devices” (2008).
